The History of EXSSA
Ex-Saker Students Association (EXSSA)
Saker Baptist College, Limbe, founded in 1962, is one of the most renowned girls’ secondary schools in Cameroon. Commonly known as Saker College, the institution has distinguished itself through its commitment to academic excellence, discipline, and the spiritual and moral development of young women.
In 1981, the Ex-Saker Students Association, popularly known as EXSSA, was established out of a deep sense of attachment, gratitude, and loyalty to Saker Baptist College.
The founding spirit of the Association was rooted in the conviction that those who had been privileged to pass through Saker Baptist College shared a special bond with the institution and a common desire to preserve the values, principles, and traditions instilled in them during their years at Saker.
EXSSA is the association that represents former students of Saker Baptist College, Limbe, fundly called “Sakerettes”. It has its permanent headquarters at Saker Baptist College, Limbe, Cameroon, and is guided by its cherished motto: LOVE, UNITY AND SISTERHOOD
This motto reflects the foundation upon which EXSSA stands: love for one another, unity in purpose, and the enduring sisterhood that connects Sakerettes across generations.
